Zenon is the Pharmacy Manager and Licensee of aaa homehealth pharmacy, Edmonton’s leading Ukrainian community-focused pharmacy. A proud local Edmonton boy and lifelong Edmonton Oilers fan, Zenon blends deep community roots with a strong professional commitment to accessible, culturally aligned health care.
Zenon holds Additional Prescribing Authorization (APA), allowing him to independently prescribe and deliver comprehensive medication management services. Trilingual in Ukrainian, Polish, and English, he ensures patients can receive care in the language they are most comfortable with. This is a vital support for many newcomers and seniors.
Under his leadership, aaa homehealth pharmacy (Ukrainian Pharmacy) has become a trusted hub for the Ukrainian community, especially during the recent influx of Ukrainian refugees. Zenon has built a model of care that integrates pharmacy practice with cultural understanding, settlement support, and personalized health education.
His innovative approach was recognized provincially in 2025, when he received the:
- RxA Award of Innovative Practice – for developing a pharmacy-based model that removes cultural and language barriers for refugee and immigrant patients.
- Hetman Award (Professional Achievement) – from the Ukrainian Canadian Congress, honoring his outstanding contributions to the Ukrainian-Alberta community.
Inspired by his family’s history including a father who came to Canada as a Ukrainian refugee, Zenon’s practice is fueled by empathy, dedication, and a passion for giving back to the community that shaped him. Whether he’s prescribing, counseling, or connecting patients to support resources, Zenon is committed to ensuring every person feels welcomed, understood, and cared for.
